There are many ways to define holography. Generally, we can say that holography is a technique that reproduce three-dimensional image from an object stored on a given medium. The hologram is the plague or film from which we can reconstruct the three-dimensional image. Therefore the hologram is the finished product of holography thanks to a physical process.
